We had an amazing stay in a spectacular place, with a 180-degree view on the Caldeira that is unbeatable in comparison to other places on the island. The staff were caring and available and assisted us in any request from organizing activities to making sure our room was comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated and extremely clean, the bed was great and the shower was amazing. We also enjoyed relaxing in the heated pool for hours and appreciated the wide range of amenities in the room.

The breakfast could have offered more variety, but it was still a nice touch to have it delivered to our balcony each morning at our chosen time.

The Ultimate Energy: Feeling the ultimate energy of this beautiful island was an experience like no other. As I relaxed in the heated plunge pool, I couldn't help but feel like I was being pampered by the gods themselves. Spent Xmas at this hotel and had a nice time overall. The breakfast was brought to our balcony which was a nice touch, but a bit more variety could be offered. The location was great and it was easy to walk to many places. The private pool was heated, which was a bonus during the chilly mornings and evenings.

Some amenities were not replenished and we had to ask for more. The front desk was not always staffed and we had trouble getting help with activities.

The view from the balcony was amazing and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful in offering suggestions for nearby restaurants. The location was great for exploring the city.

The price of the room was not justified by the lack of luxury experiences advertised. The shower lacked temperature control and was either too hot or too cold.

Be prepared for lots of steps and limited views from the public path on pools/jacuzzi. Also, the "bespoke experience" advertised may not fully deliver, with some basic amenities not being replenished and intermittent availability of staff.
